This flag contains a crescent and a green
stripe in honor of the Islamic faith. The blue is for the sky
and the and the red stands for is for blood shed for freedom.
The eight pointed star represents the eight ethnic groups
within the country.
Each flag shown is
the flag used by that
nation's government and displayed at the U.N.
headquarters. Where noted the "civil" flag is also
available. It is identical to the "government" flag except
the seal is omitted.
Flags for Outdoor use are made of 100% heavyweight
nylon and finished with strong canvas headings and brass
grommets.
