The Bahrain flag contains a
white surrogated border that was stipulated in an agreement
between Bahrain and Great Britain in 1820 which abolished piracy
in the country. The red is a traditional color or the Kharijite
Muslims.
Each flag shown is
the flag used by that
nation's government and displayed at the U.N.
headquarters. Where noted the "civil" flag is also
available. It is identical to the "government" flag except
the seal is omitted.
Flags for Outdoor use are made of 100% heavyweight
nylon and finished with strong canvas headings and brass
grommets.
