The Brazil flag contains a
blue disk that represents the southern sky as seen from Brazil. It
shows 23 stars, one for each state in the republic, that are
arranged to mirror the constellations overhead. The stars are even
shown in five different sizes. It also contains the motto, Ordem E
Progresso which means, order and progress. The yellow stands for
the mineral wealth and the green stands for the agricultural
wealth of the country.
Each flag shown is
the flag used by that
nation's government and displayed at the U.N.
headquarters. Where noted the "civil" flag is also
available. It is identical to the "government" flag except
the seal is omitted.
Flags for Outdoor use are made of 100% heavyweight
nylon and finished with strong canvas headings and brass
grommets.
