The Burkina flag contains the
Pan-African colors of green, red and yellow. The yellow star
stands for the revolution for independence. The Pan-African colors
signify unity among the African nations liberated from colonial
rule.
Each
flag shown is the flag used by that
nation's government and displayed at the U.N.
headquarters. Where noted the "civil" flag is also
available. It is identical to the "government" flag except
the seal is omitted.
Flags for Outdoor use are made of 100% heavyweight
nylon and finished with strong canvas headings and brass
grommets.
