The Burundi flag contains
three stars which represent the country's motto; Unity, Work,
Progress and the three ethnic groups in the country. The red
stands for sacrifices of the people, the green stands for progress
and the white means hope for peace.
Each
flag shown is the flag used by that
nation's government and displayed at the U.N.
headquarters. Where noted the "civil" flag is also
available. It is identical to the "government" flag except
the seal is omitted.
Flags for Outdoor use are made of 100% heavyweight
nylon and finished with strong canvas headings and brass
grommets.
