The Canadian flag carries the
national emblem, the maple leaf. The red on each end of the flag
represents the Pacific and Atlantic oceans. The red of the leaf
symbolizes the blood shed by Canadians during WW1. The white in
the center stands for the snow that blankets the country.
Each
flag shown is the flag used by that
nation's government and displayed at the U.N.
headquarters. Where noted the "civil" flag is also
available. It is identical to the "government" flag except
the seal is omitted.
Flags for Outdoor use are made of 100% heavyweight
nylon and finished with strong canvas headings and brass
grommets.
