The colors of the Chad flag
are a combination of the french tri-color and the Pan-African
colors. The blue represents the African sky and the rivers. The
yellow stands for the desert sand and the sun and red represents
the sacrifices for freedom.
Each
flag shown is the flag used by that
nation's government and displayed at the U.N.
headquarters. Where noted the "civil" flag is also
available. It is identical to the "government" flag except
the seal is omitted.
Flags for Outdoor use are made of 100% heavyweight
nylon and finished with strong canvas headings and brass
grommets.
