The Comoros flag carries the
crescent and green color that represent the Muslim faith. The four
stars represent the four main islands; Grande Comore, Mayotte,
Anjouan and Moheli. The inscription at the top of the flag reads
Allah and the lower inscription reads Muhammad.
Each
flag shown is the flag used by that
nation's government and displayed at the U.N.
headquarters. Where noted the "civil" flag is also
available. It is identical to the "government" flag except
the seal is omitted.
Flags for Outdoor use are made of 100% heavyweight
nylon and finished with strong canvas headings and brass
grommets.
