Orange should represent savannahs in the
north of the land, and green woods in the south. White is a
symbol of unity. The symbolism is the same as for the
orange-white-green flag of Niger, and vertical positions are
influenced by France tricolor.
Each
flag shown is the flag used by that
nation's government and displayed at the U.N.
headquarters. Where noted the "civil" flag is also
available. It is identical to the "government" flag except
the seal is omitted.
Flags for Outdoor use are made of 100% heavyweight
nylon and finished with strong canvas headings and brass
grommets.
