The flag of Liechtenstein is
sometimes displayed vertically, but the crown is always upright.
The crown (coronet) was added in 1937 to avoid confusion with the
flag of Haiti. The blue represents the sky and the red is for the
warmth of the evening fire.
Each flag shown is
the flag used by that
nation's government and displayed at the U.N.
headquarters. Where noted the "civil" flag is also
available. It is identical to the "government" flag except
the seal is omitted.
Flags for Outdoor use are made of 100% heavyweight
nylon and finished with strong canvas headings and brass
grommets.
