The blue stripes represent the
original provinces of the island and the white stripes stand for
the purity of the people. The red triangle symbolizes liberty,
equality and fraternity. The white star symbolizes independence.
Each
flag shown is the flag used by that
nation's government and displayed at the U.N.
headquarters. Where noted the "civil" flag is also
available. It is identical to the "government" flag except
the seal is omitted.
Flags for Outdoor use are made of 100% heavyweight
nylon and finished with strong canvas headings and brass
grommets.
