The flag of Equatorial Guinea
contains the coat of arms. The arms has six diamonds which
represent the country's five islands and the mainland portion of
the country. There is a silk-cotton tree (God tree). There is a
scroll with the motto; Unidad, Paz, Justica, or "Unity, Peace,
Justice". The green stripe represents the agriculture wealth, the
red stands for sacrifice for freedom, and white for peace. The
blue triangle represents the sea that connects the islands with
the mainland.
Each
flag shown is the flag used by that
nation's government and displayed at the U.N.
headquarters. Where noted the "civil" flag is also
available. It is identical to the "government" flag except
the seal is omitted.
Flags for Outdoor use are made of 100% heavyweight
nylon and finished with strong canvas headings and brass
grommets.
