The colors of the Finnish flag
stand for the long winter (white) and the blue stands for the many
lakes and streams. The off center cross is of typical Scandinavian
design.
Each
flag shown is the flag used by that
nation's government and displayed at the U.N.
headquarters. Where noted the "civil" flag is also
available. It is identical to the "government" flag except
the seal is omitted.
Flags for Outdoor use are made of 100% heavyweight
nylon and finished with strong canvas headings and brass
grommets.
