The French flag is a tri-color
flag and it is believed that the red and blue colors came from the
colors of Paris. The white color comes from the house of Bourbon.
The colors are said to mean, in order; liberty, equality, and
fraternity.
Each flag shown is
the flag used by that
nation's government and displayed at the U.N.
headquarters. Where noted the "civil" flag is also
available. It is identical to the "government" flag except
the seal is omitted.
Flags for Outdoor use are made of 100% heavyweight
nylon and finished with strong canvas headings and brass
grommets.
